01 / CELL SOURCING
We use immortalized cells extracted from the egg of the chicken. Since its 'immortalized' means they can continue to divide.
02 / CELL CULTIVATION
We nourish the cells with nutrient medium so that it can cultivate and proliferate. The nutrient medium is kept antibiotic-free.
03 / SCAFFOLDING
We then cultivate the cells on biopolymer-based matrix which act as a support for cells to divide and proliferate.
04 / 3D BIOPRINTING
We then use 3D bioprinting to fabricate cell-laden bioink into meat-like structures having similar organoleptic properties.

He is a prominent figure in the field of biopharmaceuticals and bioprocess technology. He is currently associated with the prestigious Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) Mumbai, India as an Associate Professor. With a strong academic background and extensive industry experience, he has made significant contributions to the biopharmaceutical industry. His professional accomplishments extend beyond academia. He has collaborated with leading industries and organizations, providing expert guidance and consulting services.
A young mind with a vision to change how people perceive meat by bringing a sustainable and ethical alternative. He is an alumnus of the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) Mumbai, India and has pursued M.Tech in Green Technology with his research work focused on cultivated meat and 3D Bioprinting. He is a protein-enthusiast and bullish on smart protein adoption. He is also working closely with organizations like GFI to promote research and awareness in the field of alternative proteins among young researchers.
